MTR Program Scholarship AvailableRecipient will be reimbursed for up to $1500.00 in expenses to attend training which will enhance their contributions to the Division’s Mountain, Travel and Rescue program. Deadline for receipt of applications is August 20, 2007.Avalanche - Mountain Travel & Rescue - Nordic Instructor of Record Checklist in PDF FormatAvalanche Program Scholarship Available A scholarship has been created to subsidize one Eastern Division Avalanche Instructor's attendance at the National Avalanche School or the International Snow Science Workshop. At the 2007 Spring Officers' Meeting, a proposal for a "Nordic Master" certification, analogous to "Certified Patroller" was introduced. Here is a copy of the proposal.
