|Three National Outstanding Awards were
presented at the 2012 Genesee Valley Region OEC Refreshers
Bob André, GV RD, second from left, was awarded the National Outstanding Instructor Award, John Lawson, National Board Rep., far right, was awarded the National Outstanding Administrative Patroller Award, and the Hunt Hollow Ski Patrol was awarded the National Outstanding Large Alpine Patrol Award, being held by GV ARD John Topping, center. Congratulating them were Division Awards Advisor Jerry Sherman and Marcia Mundrick.
Friday, May 4th, 2012, three significant awards were
presented at the Hunt Hollow (GVR) Awards
Peter Parker, Sr. was awarded a Distinguished
Service Award for his many years of dedicated
service, presented by Region Awards Advisor Mike
GVR RD Bob Andre was awarded the T. Tyler Davis
Outstanding Instructor Award, previously announced
at the Spring Officers' Meeting.
The Hunt Hollow Patrol was awarded the Division
Outstanding Large Alpine Patrol Award, previously

|On Saturday, May 5th,
2012 several awards were presented at the Annual
Western Appalachian Region Meeting
Guy Lombardo was presented a granite plaque for 50
years of dedicated service to Seven Springs, the
Western Appalachian Region, and the National Ski
Patrol by region director and long time friend Marty
Silverman on May 5th 2012. Guy is the speechless one
on the left.
Pat McChesney, Patrol Director, accepts the Eastern
Division 2012 Small Patrol of the Year award on
behalf of the Mystic Mountain ski patrol, Western
Appalachian Region. Pat also received the 2012
Eastern Division Patrol Representative of the year
award. The awards were presented by Region Director
Jerry Timcik was presented the 2012 Pete Snyder
Nordic Patroller of the Year Award at the Western
Appalachian Region meeting by Region Director Marty
Silverman. Jerry is Patrol Director of Laurel
Highlands Nordic Patrol, as well as the region
Nordic and MTR advisor.
Dick Barron, Patrol Director of Seven Springs,
Western Appalachian Region accepts the 2012 William
Gross Memorial Outstanding First Aid Award on behalf
of his patrollers Thomas Spears, Imy Rosenblatt, and
Bill Csikesz. The award was presented by Region
Director Marty Silverman
