Dear Flo,
Thank you to all the OEC instructors and supervisors who have
helped make the Outdoor Emergency Care Fifth Edition rollout so
successful. Over 11,000 copies of the book have been sold so far,
making it the most successful NSP release ever.
Some of you have asked for assistance with the CourseCompass
function and how it can be integrated into your rollouts and
classes. Brian Hoehl, the marketing manager for Brady, has offered
to give webinars on CourseCompass on October 12 at 7:00 p.m. and
October 19 at 8:00 p.m.

Information about OEC 5th Edition:
The revisions
for the OEC 5th edition are on the Brady website and are
available for the student and instructor. You will need to
Log In. Revisions are after the log in page
and are located by clicking the tab titled: Content
Revisions (on the left hand side of the page). The revisions
are listed by Chapter and are downloadable.
The OEC 5th
edition is in stock and contains the Chapter revisions on the
Brady website. The price is $65.60 (no change) plus sales
tax to the state in which you reside. There are no
shipping and handling charges.

PATROLLER
ENHANCEMENT BILL (09.9.11)
On
Monday, September 12th, the NSP e-mailed all patrollers in Vermont
regarding a proposed Patroller Enhancement Bill, which would
provide immunity to patrollers who practice their OEC skills
outside of ski resorts. You
