“Silent gratitude isn’t much use to anyone.” G. SternAs Patrollers, we all make sincere efforts to care for our patients, but here is your opportunity to ‘care for’ fellow
patrollers by nominating them for an award. You can recognize them for their extraordinary and distinguished service, abilities, or skills. Certain awards such as the DSA, NCOA, and Hall of Fame, are also available to non-patrollers for work they may have done to benefit the NSP. The National Awards Program encourages supplementation of awards on the Division, Region and Patrol levels. This page will provide brief descriptions of National and Division Awards, and where to find the nomination forms.
The online documents will be listed in “blue”. These forms must be completed online in electronic format. Efforts should be made to keep them in a WORD document.
The Division Awards Advisor can only accept awards from the Region Awards Advisor, so please follow the approval chain. Please allow a reasonable time to receive the award back form National. Once the Division Award Advisor receives the nomination, it will take approximately 45 days. ALL Nominations must reflect the proper Name and Patroller # for those in the approval process.
