Additional Stress Awareness Resources
  1. All Clear Foundation - visit website

All Clear Foundation is driven to change the harmful stigmas and daunting statistics plaguing the First Responder profession.  By creating, convening, funding and amplifying innovative programs focused on improving their life expectancy and wellbeing, we have the opportunity to positively impact the men and women who sacrifice so much and shoulder unfathomable burdens in their efforts to keep us and our communities safe.
  2. HeadFIT for Life - visit website
We know we need to keep our bodies fit.  We need to keep our heads fit too.   This is the moment you come off autopilot, CHALLENGE what’s going on in your head and, if it’s appropriate, CHANGE the way you’re thinking.  It’s the basis of HeadFIT for Life.  Learn to check in with yourself and get into the habit of using the tools that are right for you.
  3. Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR) - visit website
Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR) are promising practices for disaster behavioral health response and recovery.  Both PFA and SPR were developed by the National Center for PTSD and the National Child Traumatic Stress Network as well as other individuals involved in coordinating and participating in disaster response and recovery.
  4. Responder Alliance - visit website
Our mission is to advance the national conversation on stress injury formation and recovery in responders of all types.
  5. Responder Strong - visit website

The mental, emotional and physical impacts of emergency response work can compromise our ability to be there for our brothers and sisters in uniform, to be engaged with our families, and to protect our communities.
  6. NSP PACIFIC NW DIVISION – visit website
Please join us in a series of workshops centered around:  How do we build and sustain a culture of safety in our patrols, regions and division? Monthly workshops via Zoom on the 3rd Tuesday from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM (Eastern Time).
