Oversaw training of candidates for all patrols in Genesee Valley Region. 100% Pass rate for over 100 candidates over four year period

While Patrol Director organized and managed fundraising and construction of new Patrol Building wholly owned by HHSP. Worked with area management to educate Hunt Hollow Ski Club Board on value added to area by the Patrol

Genesee Valley Region Director 2001-2003
This Region has approximately 400 patrollers in 6 patrols with 75 instructors in all disciplines offering a full complement of courses. Directed corrective action to control finances and stabilize budget. Worked with Region Webmaster to bring region newsletter on line.
Region Awards Advisor 2006-2009
During his term the Region had a near 100% success rate with awards submitted. John personally wrote 6 Eastern Division Outstanding Awards as well as two National Outstanding awards. John prepared an extensive Region manual on awards.
NSP Board member 2010-2016
Served as Second and First Assistant Chair for four years Audit Committee Chair, Member of Finance, governance, and Education Committee, Board liaison to 75th Anniversary Committee, Represented NSP at Wounded Warrior weekend several times.
Played a significant role in EMS and Medical Oversight discussions traveling to states trying to incorporate NSP into their respective EMS programs. Had NSP not been successful in these discussions our OEC program and therefore NSP would have been in great jeopardy.
